Lets Name Heat Domes After The Top 100 CO2 Sources

A modest proposal for naming climate-related events.

Heat Domes

Instead of naming a heat dome that's likely to kill large numbers of people, why not name them after the top 100 PERI Greenhouse 100 Polluter's index? And given that large numbers of people at some point will die under these heat domes, maybe we should call them "Deathdomes". That would mean we should call:

• The North Atlantic Heat Dome: The Vistra Energy Deathdome
• The Chinese Heat Dome: The Duke Energy Deathdome
• The Southern European Heat Dome: The Southern Company Deathdome
• The Southern US and Mexico Heat Dome: The Berkshire Hathaway Deathdome

Think of it as sponsorship. After all, these companies paid for it!
